Annual General Meeting – followed by a talk by Mike Grillo: The Day the Music Died

March 26 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Drawing on his experience as a qualified teacher, Mike has combined his considerable lecturing skills with his varied and extensive knowledge of the music industry – to produce an absorbing talk and presentation which is unique in its concept. Mike’s narration is accompanied by a digitally displayed presentation – including a number of interesting anecdotes about many of the songs and artists that paved the way for this sensational music phenomenon. This ‘one-of-a-kind’ talk and presentation…..covers this explosive music genre’s formative years – with excerpts from influential recordings – along with specific reference given to some of the most innovative artists that sang and performed them. So…what was the first Rock ‘n’ Roll record…?
