Science Fiction

CONVENOR

Ben Staveley-Taylor

TIME AND PLACE

We are a group of enthusiastic Science Fiction readers. Each month we choose a book to read and at the next meeting we start off with a discussion about it, although we soon digress into general SF-related chat. We aim to pick novels which are new to most of us, as opposed to re-reading. If you want to discover great new SF authors and books, this is the group for you!

We meet in the afternoon on the last Friday of each month in the Café Pi, which is in the basement level of the Andrew Wiles building – the University maths department in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter.

If there is an interesting film or other event happening we arrange ad hoc extra group outings as well.

If you would like more information about the group, or would like to join, email sigscoordinator@u3aoxford.org.uk for more information. We are currently operating a waiting list for new members.
