Talks take place on Thursday afternoons, starting at 2pm, and usually take place in the Lecture Hall, Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JA. These are free for Oxford u3a members but you are welcome to attend as a guest for a donation of £5 (£2 for members of all other U3As).
Most talks are recorded on Zoom for the benefit of those Oxford u3a members who are unable to attend Rewley House.

Nathan Boyd – Issues Facing Farmers in Oxfordshire

Nathan Boyd is the NFU’s County Adviser for Berks, Bucks and Oxon. He has been the County Adviser working to support farming members across the Thames Valley since January 2024, previously working in politics and being a local councillor, as well as a past life working in farming in South Oxfordshire.
This talk will discuss the issues facing farmers in Oxfordshire in the current climate, and how farming could look in the future in our county. It will give a unique perspective on farming in Oxfordshire, with the stress and challenges of a changing political landscape.
