Talks take place on Thursday afternoons, starting at 2pm, and usually take place in the Lecture Hall, Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JA. These are free for Oxford u3a members but you are welcome to attend as a guest for a donation of £5 (£2 for members of all other U3As).
Most talks are recorded on Zoom for the benefit of those Oxford u3a members who are unable to attend Rewley House.

Rev Dr Richard Ounsworth, OP – What Makes for a Successful (biblical) Prophet?

Richard Ounsworth joined the Dominican Order in 1995 and was ordained priest in 2001. Since then he has spent time in Leicester, as University Chaplain, before returning to Oxford to write a doctorate on the Letter to the Hebrews and to teach Biblical Studies and New Testament Greek. He returned to Leicester in 2021, where he works in the busy city-centre parish, but continues to teach for Blackfriars, Oxford, and to give retreats and parish missions nationally and internationally.
